Kreutz Unexpectedly Praises Rookie Suh
Hot News for C Olin Kreutz
Banner day for Lakes OL
People told Zach Banner it would happen, but the 6-foot-9, 295-pound offensive lineman from Lakes High School in Lakewood, Wash. was still a little wary. He was told that once teams got a chance to see some film of his junior season, his recruitment would explode. And it was already humming at a nice clip, with eight verbal offers to his name. But he will never forget September 8th, 2010.

“I like U-Dub a Lot”
Danny Shelton still favors Washington slightly over Oregon, UCLA and California. He says all four have offered him and that the Huskies are recruiting him the hardest. “U-Dub is always the first to call and keep in regular communication,” Shelton said. “The team is improving a lot and they’re starting to win more. I think they’ll turn it around and I can see them going far this year...”
Scouting Report - Syracuse
Syracuse almost ruined its season opener because of turnovers. The Orange could have had an even more lopsided result than the 29-3 decision at Akron, but it gave the Zips great field position three times after turnovers. The Zips took over at the Syracuse 18 after Ryan Nassib's fumble, and at the Syracuse 48 after recovering an Atwon Bailey fumble, and at their 42 following a Nassib interception.
Wilson has two set
One of the most popular games on Nebraska’s schedule for the 2010 season has to be Texas. The two teams will probably be top 10, potentially top 5, and after the Big 12 title game last year it’s going to be a grudge match to some extent for Nebraska. Many of the Nebraska commitments are saying that will be their official visit, but this California DE says he’ll be there too.
Coach's Corner
Maybe it’s his smile or maybe it’s just his overall demeanor, but its hard not to like Husky senior safety Nate Williams. He is very poised and is clearly the most experienced player on the back-end of the defense. Heck, he is the only senior safety on the team. He is a leader and that is obvious in how he interacts with his teammates.
