Fall Sports Host Media Day
Over a half-dozen media members filled the media workroom at the Hec Ed Pavilion Tuesday afternoon for Fall Sports Media Day. Representatives from women's volleyball, men's and women's cross country and men's and women's soccer yielded questions from local media outlets about their upcoming seasons.
M. Soccer. Huskies Host Seattle Pacific On Friday
The UW men's soccer team will be back out at Husky Soccer Stadium on Friday for a 4:30 p.m. scrimmage against Seattle Pacific.
M. Crew. Crew Looking For Walk-On Rowers
Have an interest in rowing for the Huskies? The program is actively seeking out walk-on rowers. No experience is necessary. Both teams will hold an informational meeting on Sept. 29 for those who are interested.

Nick Taylor will advance to match play at the U.S. Amateur Championship after finishing in a tie for 13th place after the second round of medal play at Chambers Bay in University Place, Wash.

When Chelsea Bakken was nearing her senior year as a gymnast at UW, she never imagined she would end up performing in Las Vegas. Now, along with her former Husky teammate Kelly McDonald, she is celebrating her three-year anniversary as a cast member of Le Reve.

After a strong opening performance at Seattle U last Friday in a 1-0 victory, the Huskies will head to Massachusetts this weekend to take on UMass at 1 p.m. on Friday before taking on Boston University on Sunday at 5 p.m.
